Fez Master Terry's State of the Royal Order Proclamation
Happy Fez day, y'all, from Fez Master Terry. A martini, his best fez, and a tailor-made, Hoi-An green velvet smoking jacket are all that Terry needs to convene an official meeting of the Royal Order of the Fez, guest cat Lucky in the role of secretary. Should you wish to join our Royal Order, all you need to start is a fez and a proclamation on this page. We have no rights or privileges, but we will join you every Thursday in donning the fez.

Once again, we awaken...
It's been nearly two years since we've visited our digital domain, but the Order of the Fez has been busy. Join us my friend. All you need is a fez and a willingness to wear that fez at least one hour every Thursday, preferably in public. We stand for nothing, proudly, and will continue our indifference to the world as long as there are any of us left to hoist a glass and don the fez on Thursday. Don't wait for an invitation: become one of us, one of us, one of us...
A glass of Spanish red, my second best fez, and the best smoking jacket one can buy in Hoi An, which is now a place of pilgrimage for the order. Life is good.

Fez Day Mail Surprise
Funny, a fez, or fezzes, have haunted me lately, like dreams of earthquakes or the mysterious feel of invisible rain on parched earth. And then this came in the mail.

Sleep comes, like a drug...
And sleep slips away slowly, as an ancient few shake off the dust of the mummy's gauze. We, the quiet ones, welcome a new member, whose fez selected him on the mystical streets of the Jemma el Fna, as he ignored the muezzin's call to prayer echoing off the ancient Koutubia mosque. Welcome to the Fez, Fez Terry, and remember, we have no affiliation, no secret handshake, no belief system, only the shared fez and the secret and somber powers it imparts. And if anyone else wishes to join (but can't make the trip to Morocco), a fez from Amazon, IF IT CHOOSES YOU, will do. Our only requirement is that you don the fez for an hour on Thursday, and wear it in public, at least once a month.
